Ambulance  is  thought of during emergency conditions to save life timely.  To offer services to a human is  good, and particularly when he or she is sick, it is better and  if the services are provided to people freely it is the best. Ambulances are required to be ready for service anytime in hospitals in fit condition.  

Ambulance comes nowadays  in various sizes and shapes as medical vehicle, and  is  equipped with the wide range of vital emergency tools and machines including splints, intravenous, drugs, oxygen  etc. All ambulance vehicles are equipped with radio for communication.  During the recent Corona incidents, many could not be transferred to hospitals timely for want of ambulance and   some unfortunate have  lost their valuable lives as we are given to understand.

SREE KRISHNARPANAM SEVA TRUST, Nanganallur, proposes to gift an ambulance to the local hospital managed by Dr Sathya narayanan, a dedicated and trusted medical officer running the Sri Chakra Multi speciality hospital in Nanganallur, as they are in need of an ambulance for serving the people in and around Nanganallur in cases of emergency in time.  

The role of ambulance need not be elaborated. It is very vital for hospitals to transfer patients  quickly from home to hospital to ensure they get immediate  and proper treatment and medical attention  at any time to save life.  A good and reliable ambulance service is a must to save life during emergency situations.  Sometimes  even  delay by a second  for want of an ambulance  may be costly.

The minimum cost of a decent and reliable ambulance  such as  Mahindra supro ambulance  EECO model is between Rs 7 and 8 lakhs.  The specifications are given as below:

If  we all can join hands  together and contribute whatever possible  for such a good cause we can organise buying an ambulance and give it to the hospital for FREE SERVICE to transfer  emergency case  patients in and around Nanganallur to and from hospital. If any one of you is connected with automobiles and  arrange to get a suitable vehicle it will be  ideal.

Let me go one step further as well and  suggest any donor who has a suitable vehicle  for using it as an ambulance by the hospital, can offer it either  freely or  at a nominal cost subject to the vehicle  being  fit and suitable for the above emergency service.

If  suitable vehicles are  offered by philanthropic donors, we may perhaps be in a position to donate two vehicles either used or  new ones to the hospital depending on how and what Krishna instils in the minds of  prospective donors and philanthropists who read this to fulfil the wish of SKST..

We propose to name the vehicle ''JANARDHANA  1 /2/3/ etc ''  as jana seva is  janardhana seva and deliver it in presence of donors or sponsors to the hospital on a given date, at the earliest.  We once again reiterate that when donating the vehicles our  only condition to the hospital is that the ambulance service should be FREE for all patients needing the emergency service  whoever the patient may be.

Receipts will be issued to donors for their contributions by SKST.   When the collected donations reach the level to meet the cost of the vehicle it will be purchased with discounts if any offered by the seller, and delivered to the hospital  freely for proper maintenance and use for the dedicated purpose.
