Sri G.Sivaswamy, is known to me since 2013 when I started Sree Krishnarpanam Seva Society and began writing books on Krishna and other Hindu gods, as a well wisher and mail friend. We never met till 5th November 2020 when he visited me at Nanganallur, He was in the city to attend one of his grand son's wedding.
Following is the post made by him on his timeline, after visiting me on 5th November, 2020, which I copy below:
Sri Sivaswamy is a scholar in English, Malaylam, Tamil and Sanskrit. He was a very senior official in Govt of India serving for over
36 years. He was Consultant and Documentation Expert WITH UNICEF and is the Chairman of Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan, Wadakkanchery Kendra, and President of Kerala Brahmana Sabha.
A wellknown author of many books in English he is a very amiable friend and a pleasing personality. He is about 87 now and I received his blessings when he visited me and exchanged books with him. I am glad he had posted the following after our meeting on his Timeline in FB and circulated to others in many groups in which he is a part.
MEETING TAMIL WRITER J.K. SIVAN IN CHENNAI ON 5TH NOVEMBER 2020
Sivanji and myself have been writer-friends for several years now; he being a prolofic writer with a mission to propogate Lord Krishna's ife and teachings primarily for the students and the younger generation of Indians. The author and his other friends - all writers, have been visiting schools/colleges, etc and conducting Quiz competitions and other programs besides Krishna Jayanti festivals and inviting well-known writers and philosophers to talk and arrange discourses on Lord Krishna and allied subjects like Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Aintham Vedam (Mahabharta epic) etc.
A large number of books have already been published with beautiful color illustrationns most of whhich are not for sale but for free distribution to those intrested in knowing Lord's life and teachhings in Tamil and translated into English as well. JK Sivan is a real'KRISHNA PREMI' and has covered in his writings almost all great writers who were Krishna Premis like Sur Das Meera, Jayadeva Kavi etc, besides South Indian writers including Poonthanam's Jnanappana etc. After poet-patriot Subramaniya Bharati, this Trust is propagating Lord's teachings. The students and young India must be made aware of our great heritage and bodies like this Seva Society have to be supported finnancially for publication of books have been a costly task. I request all my friends and well wishers including libraries to take advantage of their free books and hellp them in further propagating Lord's teachings. They were supposed to visit Waqdakanchery and meet our students in Bhavan, Akamala but Corona prevented, still I do hope JK Sivan will be able to visit Kerala once the Pandemic has been controlled.
