Here is an opportunity for you to feel happy in partaking with SREE KRISHNARPANAM SEVA SOCIETY, in an act which will bring immense mental satisfaction.

Let me briefly outline what it is which will bring so much of such satisfaction and mental peace for us.

Sri Bala Veda Patasala, established in 2007, in memory of Sri Balaganesa Ghanapatigal, a renowned vedic scholart now has 14 students undergoing studies in Taitreeya Shaka of Sri Krishna yajur Vedam. The Patasala is about 100km from Chennai on Trichy highway at Thozhuppedu, after Acharapakkam. Sri R. Balakrishnan is the Managing Trustee. The Trust has also constructed a Yatri Nivas for those travelling on Chennai - Trichy National Highway to use the swame for refreshing themselves and performing anushtanam.

There is a goshala within the Patasala premises. The intent is to provide milk to the vidhyarthis, gomaya and cow dung for farming / making vibhuti and keeping the patasala clean. There are about six pairs of cows in the goshala and a couple of local breed cow pairs also came into ther Pathasala in last quarter of 2016. The Trust makes Vaidika Vibhuti.

The students of Sri Bala Veda Pathasala perform Veda parayanam (chanting) in temples and on special occasions in the neighborhood of the pathasala, as a service.

The Patasala is spread over 7 acres

THE TRUST WISHES TO PLANT 27 NAKSHATRAM TREES, NINE NAVAGRAHAM TREES ( saplings ) ,20 PURASAI TREES, FIVE BANGANAPALLY TREES TO BE PLANTED IMMEDIATELY IN THE PATASALA COMPLEX. IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE TREES/SAPLINGS FROM GRAZING COWS, THEY NEED 40 TREE GUARDS

THEY HAVE PLOUGHED THE LAND FOR PLANTING THE TREES

IT IS ESTIMATED TO COST IN ALL FOR THE TREES AND TREE GUARDS MENTIONED RS 32000 ( SAPLINGS=RS 17000/-+TREE GUARDS RS.15000/- THE MANAGEMENT HAS REQUIRED MANPOWER FOR PLANTING AND MANURE ETC., FOR GROWING THE PLANTS.
