PRAYER IS THE BEST WORSHIP
Let us always remember that God is both our father and mother. The earthly father and mother are only accidental related to us in each and every birth separately as different persons.To think of God alone is our business. He knows what we need and will certainly protect us as it is His duty.
The world of names and forms we see around us illusory. No need therefore to run after any objects here. That is the work of discrimination. When this discrimination has been awakened in us we could and should resort to the lotus feet of Mahapurushas like Maha periyavaa and other Mahans, seek and learn from them the highest Knowledge, and attain Supreme Bliss or God-realisation. If we are not able to enjoy the Satsang of Maha purushas, we should take to the study of scriptures which many rishis and learned devotees of God have provided us with.
God descends only into a Pure Heart. We should strive to purify our heart. For this we have to first purify our thought, purify our speech, purify our sight. purify our actions and purifyour motives.
Remember these five. Think only sublime thoughts. Let no evil or vulgar, untruthful or hurtful word escape our lips. See no evil and let our sight be divine. Let us do good and be good and not be egoistic.
Let us thank the person who gives us a chance to serve the Lord through him. Let us watch our motives first. It is the motive that really counts more than the actions themselves.
There is nothing that the Lord’s Name cannot do for us. His name is more powerful than Him . It will help us and purify our hearts. We can transform our own home into a Vaikunta if we sing the Lord’s Name and engage ourselves in His service. This is the simple worship. There is no unholy place, and all places are holy.
