JUMBLED THOUGHTS

Dear Friends

JUMBLED THOUGHTS

You would have  observed that  all the thoughts  which arise in the mind are not singular or  in any particular order or in sequence. They are jumbled because the emotions, feelings and events which form the thought in the mind are too many and too fast to adjust with each other.  So  whatever  I explain to you as my thoughts may not necessarily be about a single particular subject..

It may be observed  that  great people  whom we adore and respect  have been born  only in the homes of educated and pious mothers.   Vivekananda, Gandhi, Sivaji Maharaja,  Rajaraja cholan , Maha Periyava,  Seshadri Swamigal et al,  are classic examples.

Nothing is permanent in this world.  Permanence is nowhere except in the soul within  us which we do  not realise.   Meditation is the gate that opens  it  to us.    As time goes on,  the  power of meditation separates ourselves from the body, and then the soul knows itself as it is — the unborn, the deathless, and birthless being. No more is there any misery, no more births upon this earth, no more evolution.   The highest realisation would reveal no feelings, no love, as all that belongs to matter and superstition and bondage.

It is in our tradition and culture  alone  the persons to be worshipped are in this order:   mother, father, teacher and god,   the mother being foremost and god  being the  last in the order.  Devotion to the mother is the root of all welfare.

Let things happen as they will.  The supreme governing  power does His work .  We are but servants and nothing else.  So we strongly believe rightly that He exists; nothing else does.
It is unswerving love and perfect unselfishness that conquer everything.

Great work requires great and persistent effort for a long time. Quarrelling and abusing each other are our national traits
A work can be judged by its results only, just as one can infer the nature of previous mental tendencies by their resultant in present behaviour. . . .
Nine-tenths of our life’s energy is spent in trying to make people think us that which we are not.
Each nation develops one peculiarity of character
Fools blame the actions of the great, because they are extraordinary and their reasons
“No knowledge is possible without a teacher.
Expansion is the sign of life.
Thinking on each one of the above deeply would enlighten and make it clear.
