BEAUTY AND LOVE - J.K. SIVAN
In English, when we tell someone ''Beautiful'' we really appreciate some special quality in him or her which we observed but it is mostly mistaken as we observed their physical appearance.
Beauty for most, is a figure, a shape, physical looks that appeal to the senses of the viewer. Beauty does not concern or relate particularly to one's physical personality. No. Beauty is not just skin deep.
Physical beauty in a person in course of time undergoes various changes, it fades and decreases in its shape because it is subject to change and never permanent. Beauty lies in the eyes of the the person.
Likewise another mistaken impression is about the word 'Love'. It is merely any smile which is really beautiful because Love is a smile that warms the heart. Love need not be a physical attraction. Any person we love need not necessarily be a physically beautiful person. Love can as well be a beauty from inside-out. Love endures, it never fails and Love is of a timeless dimension.
Love is found in plenty in the eyes that speak volumes of kindness, patience, concern not for a few minutes or seconds but day and night. Love for something or someone is not merely a feeling. It spontaneously springs up from the heart, and becomes a sensitizer to the soul.
Love embraces the truth -"I Love You more the older you get" we say to our parents and grand parents.
Love is humility, a self-giving peacemaker and it increases when one is friendly, affectionate and considerate and selfless. Love is in the heart of the giver. Love builds the relationship and lays the foundation of attachment and togetherness with everyone. It is preserved in all that has people as its components, say, marriages, friendships, families and Society. It is born of great selfless respect and regard for the other. Once it is built well, it lasts for a lifetime.
Remember my dear friends, ''Beautiful'' you are when I say, I just dont refer to the physical personality but see through you to find your heart and feel the Love that springs forth from it.....
