SREE KRISHNARPANAM SEVA SOCIETY, NANGANALLUR, organised the Book Release function at DANT RAKSA FOUNDATION HALL, 41 Yogeswaran Cross St., Madipakkam, Chennai 600091. at 5 pm. on Sunda the 20th August 2017.
The book to be released was the prestigious 31st publication of SKSS, titled ''ORU ARPUDHA GNANI'' authored by Sri J.K.Sivan, the Chairman of SKSS. The book sponsored by many well wishers of SKSS, is about the life of the great Sathguru Seshadri Swamigal of Thiruvannamalai, in the form of the experiences of many devotees of the Swamigal during his life time.
Jothida Navarathnam Guruji Sri K.V.L.N. Sharmaji, the Founder Trustee of Sathguru Seshadri Swamigal Brindhavanam Trust, Madambakkam, was the distinguished Chief Guest invited to release the book and first copies were received by Sri K. Ravishankar, and Sri Maruthabharani, Tamil Cine Lyricist and Dialogue writer, both being the ardent devotees of the Swamigal.
Special Invitees for the occasion were Dr B. Jayakrishna, the Founder Trustee of Dant Raksa Foundation and Sri Arun Sai, the Channel Head of Swasthik TV.
The function commenced with prayer by Smt Parvathy Mohan, who sang the song composed by her on Swamigal. Sri Keeranur Ramamurthi, President of SKSS welcomed the guests and audience followed by a brief report on activities of the SKSS by Sri Sundaram Ramachandran, the Secy of SKSS. The guests and special invitees narrated their personal experiences of benefits derived as a result of their prayers and worship of the Swamigal.
Guruji KVLN Sharmaji performed Naivedyam offering of Prasadh to the Swamigal before it was distributed to everyone and spoke on how he succeeded in his mission in establishing the 18 sidhdhar peetams at Madambakkam and built the temples of Rajakali under the guidance and direction of the Swamiji who instructed him through His Sookshma sareeram.
Sri J.K.Sivan thanked all for the cooperation and support he received from everyone which enables him to publish and release spiritual books for children for distribution at various schools free of cost as prizes for their meritorious participation in various spiritual competititions and contests held by SKSS from time to time.
Prof R.Ganapathi Subramanian proposed the vote of thanks and the program was excellently compered by the Master of Ceremony Smt Gayathri Jambunathan as usual.
