Nanganallur, the temple town has stray cows and bulls occupying roads, and treated a ‘’menace’’ to vehicles and pedestrians. The cows are fed mostly by housewives in each street and by temples.Having no place to rest, they find comfortable positions on the streets. Will anyone spend a few minutes on following suggestions?:
1. An used large cement or metal container filled with water in one, and fresh vegetable refuses, leaves, fruit peels, and good unspoiled eatables which are in excess and unusable so that the cows, bulls, calves etc on the roads can consume happily. A place provided in front or back of a house, a vacant space, if provided by someone on the street, the others in the street use these for ‘’filling’’ the cow food & water containers. .Residential Welfare Associations in each colony and Nagar can come forward to arrange this at various points in their respective areas.
2. Whenever unused vegetable, leaves , fruits etc remaining unsold/ unsaleable, etc., in your usual, regular shops, it can be bought for some concessional price with the cooperation of the vendor for ‘’filling’’ the containers, for providing food to the cows.
3. Children should be trained to take interest and love for such helpless animals and be told about GO RAKSHANAM, GO MAHIMA, and taken to GO SHALAS.
If anyone has better ideas it is welcome so that we can be a part of Go SAMRAKSHANAM in our own areas, in a limited capacity, and many such efforts would become a huge welfare measure if more than one group of people indulge in such a GO SEVA.
If We in Nanganallur commence this, no doubt word would spread to other areas, for many to follow suit and the result would be fantastic.
SREE KRISHNARPANAM SEVA SOCIETY,,NANGANALLUR,
is happy to suggest this as Krishna is inseparable with Cows and everyone knows the greatness and sacredness of worshipping GO MATHA. Why not we move forward with a pledge to fulfil effective 1st of January 2018!
if you share my view please forward to your friends and contacts for implementing a good GO SEVA
